  • How to get there

    Using public transport
    From the main station Dresden Hauptbahnhof: Take the No 7 tram towards Weixdorf, alight at Infineon Nord and follow the signs. Cost: Around € 2,70 for a single ticket. Duration: Approx. 30 minutes

    From Dresden-Neustadt: Exit the station onto Schlesischer Platz and take the No 3 tram towards Coschütz. Alight one stop later at Albertplatz. From there, take the No 7 tram towards Weixdorf, alight at Infineon Nord and follow the signs. Cost: Around € 2,70 for a single ticket. Duration: Approx. 25 minutes.

    From the airport
    Make your way to the bus stop (directly outside the terminal building), take the No 77 bus towards Klotzsche-Infineon and alight at the final stop. The stop is directly adjacent to the DGUV Academy Dresden. Cost: Around €2,70 for a single ticket. Duration: Approx. 10 minutes
    A taxi from the airport to the DGUV Academy costs around €12-15. Duration: Approx. 10 minutes

    By car
    Via the A4 (junction Dresden-Wilschdorf/Airport). After leaving the motorway turn right towards Klotzsche (Hermann-Reichelt-Straße). After approx. 1.3 km turn right at the traffic lights onto Flughafenstraße (which becomes Karl-Marx-Straße). Continue for another approx. 1.3 km and turn right onto Königsbrücker Landstraße. Continue for approx. 300 m before turning left onto the DGUV Academy site.

    Parking

    On-site parking is limited. We therefore recommend that visitors use public transport to make their way here.

  • Accessibility

    Accompanying persons

    Access to the conference is free of charge for accompanying persons if the person they are accompanying presents a severely disabled person's pass stating the requirement for an accompanying person, and an admission ticket. The event organizers recommend that relevant information be provided on the registration form.

    Parking for people with disabilities and special needs

    A good number of parking spaces for people with disabilities and special needs are available.

    Paths/entrances

    The site and entrances to it are accessible by disabled persons. A sufficient number of places are provided for wheelchair users and for persons with hearing and visual impairments. Seats are also reserved for accompanying persons. Hostesses are on hand to provide assistance if needed.

    WCs

    WCs accessible by disabled users are available and are clearly signed.

    Special assistance

    Special assistance is available for persons with impaired hearing and/or vision and for blind and deaf persons in plenary sessions. If needed, personal assistance can be provided by sign-language interpreters and speech-to-text reporters. Please inform us of your needs in the registration process no later than the end of 16 September 2022. For organizational reasons, information provided after this deadline can no longer be considered.
